So much has changed since I last posted. Little Alex is finally really ours! There has been a lot of progress on our house lately in the windows department, and Alex's room is almost ready for him to move into! I should really put pictures on here, but I don't have any pictures on this computer right now, so I'll have to wait. Alex can crawl and walk and is now completely off of oxygen and is into everything :). Alex is also starting to talk, he loves to roar, and can say 'mamma' and 'dad' and 'dog', or 'doggy', and he will sometimes immitate what you say, such as 'ha ha ha'. However he is not to the point of doing any of these things very consistantly besides roar and mamma. He will also point to something specific in a storybook if you ask him to. He loves to give you passionate wet slobbery kisses while he grabs you by the ears:). Dad is finished teaching summer school, and has had two weeks off to work on the house. He starts back working at the Science Focus Program this monday. He recently came back from a 4 day trip with some friends to hike Longs Peak. They took a very challenging route and it was harder than he thought it would be, but he still loved it. Mom is enjoying having her sister and brother-in-law and nephew here in town to stay for a while, and is very busy finishing up Alex's bedroom and taking such wonderful care of Dad, Alex and I. I think she deserves the kind of care she gives us for herself every once in a while! I am heading back to school this month on the 20th.... I'm so excited! Mika is doing very well, I had lots of time to pamper her during the summer. We will be getting a second Welsh Terrier at the beginning of next summer, as a companion and a mate for Mika. Then hopefully she will have puppies some time shortly after that. That is enough to bore you with for now I think. I am amazed tha you actually made it through this whole thing to the end! Kudos to you! (It doesn't count if you skipped the middle and went straight to the end) So please let me know how you are doing, I would love to hear! Have a great day!

And I'm back again said Nora With a Monumental Crash!

So, sorry about the lapse in posting. I have just been pretty busy lately, and keep on meaning to post, but things just get in the way somehow. I'm sure you all understand that! So sometime in the future I will actually post pictures of our updated family, and tell you all how we are doing. I miss you all and love you a lot.

I like the first blog background best, so I'll stick with that. How are you guys doing? I would love to hear from you by email or something. Or maybe you could just all get blogs so I can see what's happening in your life! My dad is in Kansas City right now for a Science Olympiad competition. Mom is doing housework (when is she not) and I? I am blogging out our life story. No just kidding. I'm trying to be quiet so that I don't wake the baby up. He is taking his nap. Such a cute little boy. I got a haircut, so now I have bangs. I will try to post some pictures pretty soon of that. So what's going on in your life? I want to hear it! I miss you all, mj

Teeth (not mine)

Yes, my brother got teeth. There are two of them, and they are poking through on the bottom. It is so cute when he smiles really big and you can see them. My little brother is awesome. I was recently IQ tested, and they approved me for a mentor in language arts. It starts this Monday. My mentor's name is Lisa Munger, and she is a journalist, and attended Texas Christian University. So I am pretty excited, but there is so much I don't know about her. I will be spending 8:00 -8:52 with only her every morning teaching me. Then also this Friday is my birthday, and my poor mom is trying to coordinate my birthday alone because dad will be in Texas for Science Olympiad, and I also have a piano recital on my birthday. So I will be kind of busy but I'll try to post after I have a few days with my mentor.

Hi guys, I feel like I haven't actually had a conversation with any of you lately. I'm doing good in school, and I totally love it. School is like totally awesome! So yeah. I think for some reason this is more of a monologue than a conversation. I'm just putting out random boring facts about me, but anyway I think you guys won't mind too much and if I get way too boring I hope you know I don't care if you go and visit another blog with maybe more interesting posts. I think that just maybe might have been a run on sentence. My dog is pretty happy these days even with me at school from seven thirty to three fifteen or so. The actual learning hours are from eight to two fifty eight but I like to get there early, and then after school there's the walking home time.... So yeah. Right now my teachers are all female and I am getting kind of frustrated, I would like to have at least one male teacher, even my Physical Education teacher is a girl! And she's pregnant! I am starting two new classes on Monday, Art and Health. Those are my sixth and seventh period classes, sixth rotates days with P.E, and seventh period is the last class of the day. But the teachers don't tell you how to get there so I'm a little worried about that aspect of it. Anyway this has been a really long monologue, but it's nice to talk to you guys, hope I'll see you soon. ~mj
